About Us
Fan girl cafe is more than a coffee house- it's a true community space, built to uplift and support women & queer artists and the fans who love them. Owners, and self proclaimed "fan girls" Betsy Martinez and Cynthia Temblador poured their heart and soul into creating this safe, inclusive and fun space. It was their dream to bring something unique to West Hollywood, a place they always wished existed and they truly hope you love your visit! Every detail- the design of the cafe, the menu, the art, the playlists- was made with intention.
Every piece of art on our gallery walls are original pieces (other than our iconic bathroom ceiling collage), many of which were captured by Fan Girl Cafe owner Betsy Martinez and her network of photographer colleagues and friends. We make it a priority to credit all our featured artists and showcase their talents to celebrate their accomplishments, which we feel doesn't always get the credit and admiration they deserve. We aim to change that!
You will often see us sharing, posting and encouraging guests to follow the many talented artists who have so graciously contributed their work to our cafe. We play music videos all day, every day and make it a point to rotate our playlists to highlight different genres and generations- from mainstream to indie to local. You name it, we will throw it in our diverse mix!
We've been described as a nostalgic throwback to the 90's, back when coffee houses were true community spaces, where you could listen to live music from local up and comers and get all the feels of the good ole MTV days. When first timers walk into our space and their faces light up with pure joy- those are the days we know FAN GIRL CAFE is a special gem! We hope you embrace it & love it when you visit soon!

COFFEE: We partnered with Intelligentsia Coffee to bring our guests an elevated coffee taste and experience.
Thoughtfully sourced, freshly roasted and proudly poured.
SYRUPS: Our signature, delicious lattes are sweetened with a truly natural syrup that doesn't sacrifice taste, texture or integrity.
Proper syrups are made from real organic ingredients and their recipes have been specifically tailored to support
the unique flavor profile of specialty coffee.
Fun Fact:
All of our coffee drinks are named after iconic songs and artists. One of the most popular lattes has been the "Fade Into You" latte. A mix of Vanilla with a hint of Lavender, the subtle sweetness matches the soothing and smooth vocal stylings of the Mazzy Star classic.

TEAS: Enjoy a selection of herbal teas by Kilogram Tea. We've been told our "Chai Will Always Love You" is ridiculously good. We agree!
