Celebrate Fan Girl Cafe’s one-year anniversary at our special Galentine’s 90’s Dance Party. Grab your besties and get ready to dance the night away like you’re a character in a 90’s high school movie- You know, the ones where there was a band at prom (did anyone really have a band at prom?), spontaneous choreographed dances, huge love declarations and of course…the best music.
Fan Girl Cafe loves all genres and generations but the 90’s has a special place in our hearts, as it was the era that really turned us into fan girls, with some of the most influential women in music bursting onto the scene. The night will feature iconic music videos from the era, Galentines themed photo ops, raffles, community vendors and a very special live performance by No Duh- The world’s greatest tribute to No Doubt.
Fun fact- No Doubt played the iconic Troubadour in 95 during their Tragic Kingdom tour so expect a re-imagining of that historic show, complete with visuals and costume changes. No Duh will transport you back in time with other 90’s hits on top of all the ND goodies.
Fan O’Ween: 80s v 90s Costume Bash @LALGBT Center
Join Fan Girl Cafe and friends for Fan O’ Ween, as we take over the beautiful Village Courtyard at the Los Angeles LGBT Center for a spooky, fun night of 80’s vs 90’s inspired Karaoke, dancing, costume contests, prizes, raffles and more.
Costume prize categories:
- Best 80’s inspired costume.
- Best 90’s inspired costume.
- Best couple or group costume.
- Scariest costume.
(We highly encourage everyone to dress in the 80s/90s theme but all costumes are welcome! Get creative- think icons, famous couples, pop culture, horror movie characters, etc from those eras)
